Character Story: Luke was a good ol' boy from Tennessee before he joined the Marines. He saw buddies die in front of him, bombs narrowly missing him, he witness the Japanese' fanatical Banzai charges, survived it all with just a few scratched and a bayonet through his left palm. A charger had knocked him down and was stabbing when he moved his hand in the way of the Bayonet and pushed it out of the way. It was this quick thinking that got him through the war, that and pure luck. He led a platoon on Peliliu, Tarawa, and Iwo Jima. Loosing 25 of his 34 man platoon. By war's end he was a rough, grizzled marine's marine. Not showing pure hatred or being quick to fight, but understanding, helpful, courageous, trustworthy, admirable, and a bit of a ladies man. It always seemed like you could shoot him and it would just make him mad, he was one of the calmest and most calculating men any marine in his platoon had ever known, a true leader. Always ready for anything. He was basically a walking tank. He received the Navy Cross and the Purple Heart for his actions.
Appearance: Well toned muscles, a very terrifying figure to behold.

Personality: A man shaped by war, a tough and courageous marine. Never quick to fight, but quick to defend others. He is helpful, chivalrous, protective, and expects respect from all. The war has aged him, causing him to seem older than he is. He tends to call people "Boy", "Fella", "Ma'am", so forth. Easily takes charge of a situation and always has a plan. He will readily beat you to a bloody pulp if you lay your hands on a woman.
Strengths: He is a skilled surgeon and trained in medicine, he is also a very accurate marksman.
Weaknesses: Can be too trusting, suffers from flashbacks and war dreams.
